CORE10 joined forces with RGRoss Construction to help the William A. Kerr Foundation upgrade their energy generation equipment. The Kerr Foundation is a LEED Platinum renovation of an old building north of downtown St. Louis. Until now they've only had a small wind turbine and a few strips of PV panels adhered to the metal roof. But now they can boast a state-of-the-art Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) as well as the latest Sanyo PV panels. Larson Engineering provided structural design to support the VAWT atop the existing stair tower. Lawrence Fabric Structures provided design and installation of the PV awnings.
